My name is Patricio and I am raising funds for a cause very important to me, ensuring Minnesota Children's Mental Health program is accessible to all. I have had my own share of experiences with mental health struggles, and it is not easy to deal with them, not for me and not for anyone else. Thankfully, I have always had access to the support I have needed, with people who were able to help me by my side. However, I understand this really is a luxury, not everyone can afford the help they deserve and need, with a lot people not receiving insurance reimbursements to cover the expenses that allow them to have access to essential programs that help them get better. No person deserves to have to go through a mental health crisis, no person's mental struggles and problems deserve to be an economic burden to them or to their family, and no person deserves to be restricted from being able to learn to feel okay. These understandings are very personal to me, and because of that I feel the need to advocate all the much stronger. By raising funds I am able to help those who are not able to help themselves, and who may not even be able to afford to. I hope to truly effect a difference, and I am thankful for whoever assists me in my mission.
