On May 4, Nico was admitted to Children's Minnesota with a severe case of osteomyelitis (bone infection) with sepsis. During his 16 day stay, he had 4 separate anesthesia procedures and was facing daily pain and anxiety, unsure of what the next day would hold.

While no family ever wants their child in the hospital, Children's Minnesota made every effort to create fun and special moments for Nico. We are eternally grateful for the team that took such excellent of our kiddo and would love to continue to support their efforts.
