I (Heather) was a patient at Children's Hospital many times as a teenager. These were the hardest times in my life. I had long stays, which included several holidays, like Christmas 2022. The donantions from strangers to Children's made my time there so much better. Comfort from stuffed animals, musical instruments, art supplies, and more distracted me from my situation and even helped me feel joy during these incredibly difficult times. To commemorate our marriage, we would love nothing more than to start our life together by giving back and helping the current children there. Trevor and I don't have the means to donate ourselves at this time. It would mean the world to us to help the other children at the hospital feel the same love and happiness I felt due to the kindness and charity of those who donated during my stays.
