One Mile at a Time. One Step at a Time. Show Up. Keep Going. LTE.

After seven knee surgeries, there were countless moments when I wondered if I'd ever run again. The physical recovery was difficult, but the mental battle was even harder—questioning whether my journey had come to an end. That's why I'm running the Twin Cities Marathon to support mental health. Every mile is a reminder that progress isn't measured by how quickly you get there, but by finding the strength to keep showing up. One Mile at a Time. One Step at a Time. Show Up. Keep Going.

LTE — Later Than Expected.

It's a reminder that life isn't a race. We all move at our own pace. Some journeys take longer than we planned, and that's okay. What matters isn't when you arrive, it's that you never stop showing up.

That's why I'm running the Twin Cities Marathon in support of mental health.

Mental health is often pushed aside, especially in athletes. We're taught to push through pain, stay strong, and keep moving forward. But strength isn't pretending everything is okay. Real strength is asking for help, supporting one another, and continuing to show up—even on the hardest days.

Every mile I run represents the people fighting battles no one else can see. Whether you're healing, grieving, struggling, or simply trying to make it through another day, your journey matters.

Later than expected doesn't mean you failed.

It means you kept going.
