10 Miles for Savannah Rave

I don't really like asking people for money, but this one is special to me.

On October 4th, I’m running the Medtronic TC 10 Mile with the Cadre crew and Children’s Minnesota.

But this one means a little more to me.

I’m running for Savannah Rave. ❤️

Savannah was my former stepdaughter, and she died from cancer when she was only 11 years old.

Savannah was part of my life during a pretty chaotic chapter of mine. I was struggling with addiction at the time, and I wasn’t always the person I wish I could’ve been during those years. I was there for parts of her fight, and I saw firsthand what she and her mom had to walk through.

I also got to see what Children’s Minnesota did for them.

They cared for Savannah and supported her mom through something no family should ever face. She was 11 years old fighting something no kid should ever have to fight.

Years later, I’m in a very different place in my own life, and I get the opportunity to run with the Children’s Minnesota team and give a little something back.

So I’m running 10 miles for Savannah.

For her. For the kids fighting things they shouldn’t have to fight. For their families. And for the people who show up and care for them through it.

I’m shooting for $1,000. Give $5. Give $10. Give $100. Whatever. It all counts.

And if you can’t donate, share it. Cheer us on. Send some love.

10 miles for Savannah. ❤️

Let’s help out a family that we don't even know yet.
