Graham was diagnosed with T cell acute lymphoblastc leukemia the day after his first birthday. We received the diagnosis at Children's in Minneapolis and did not leave the hospital for the next 67 days. In that time, and over the next two and a half years, Graham and the rest of our family were taken care of by the wondeful people at Children's Minnesota. We were direct recipients of so many of the programs we are raising money for now. Music therapy and the child life team were such integral parts of Graham's care and such a comfort to us as well. We also appreciated not having to worry about paying for parking or tracking down food when we were in and out of the clinic and hospital, often multiple times per week. It was such a blessing. The team at Children's understands what support is needed and it is so amazing having these resources available so we could focus on our child's cancer battle. One of the most amazing things to me is that Graham would get excited to go to the clinic for chemo. He loved the people (and let's be honest, the food too) at the clinic so much.
