In 7th grade I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. It was a big shock to my life and wasn't easy to comprehend. It came with many setbacks and difficulties to begin with, but over time I've adapted and learned to live happily and normally with type 1 Diabetes. Now that I've lived with it for years and have adapted to my new life, it is a part of my lifestyle. I want to help raise money for children's to further their research and help other type 1 diabetics out there!
