As a mother of a special needs child, I don't just believe in diversity, inclusion, and accessibility—I live it every single day. I see firsthand the barriers my child faces. I witness the moments when the world isn't built with them in mind. Children's Minnesota helps make healthcare easier for children with complex health needs with dedicated specialists who care deeply about providing phenomenal care and education to their patients and families. 

Running for health isn't just a personal mission for me - and that is why this year I am running the Twin Cities 10 Mile for Children's Minnesota! Children's Minnesota provides inclusive and specialized care for children of all backgrounds. Children's Minnesota has been an integral part of our son's healthcare team, and it is important to me to give back to those who have made tomorrow possible for our most fragile population.
