I am delighted to be back on Team Superstars running (walking) the TC 10 Mile. This year, I'll be raising money for Child and Family Services, my home department at Children's. Working at the St. Paul Welcome Center has given me so much over the past three years so I want to do what I can to give back. 

The Welcome Center is one of the many departments within CFS. The work my colleagues and me do benefits the entire family throughout their time with us and help keep the hospital going. But none of our offerings - from Child Life and Music Therapy to interpreter services, spiritual care, and more - are seen on a bill. I may be biased, but I think our work is important just the same.

I am hoping to raise $500 - or just $50 per mile - for CFS. But any amount you can give will go a long way to help us do our work. I'll be donating a portion of the total amount raised from my own money to the Children's Minnesota Gender Health Clinic as well (final amount TBD).
