Shine Bright for Kids
Who are you shining bright for? This September, honor someone special while supporting patients and families facing cancer and blood disorders.
Who do you Shine Bright for?
This September, during Childhood Cancer and Sickle Cell Awareness Month, join a community of supporters dedicated to making a difference for children and families facing cancer and blood disorders.
By creating a fundraiser, you can help fund lifesaving research, compassionate care, family support services, and programs that help families navigate a cancer or blood disorder diagnosis.
Every dollar raised through Shine Bright for Kids helps ensure patients and families at Children's Minnesota receive the support they need—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

About the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program
Children's Minnesota is home to the largest Cancer and Blood Disorders Program in the Upper Midwest and cares for more than 3,500 patients each year, from infants to young adults. Our program serves more than 80% of Minnesota children with sickle cell disease and provides expert care for patients facing cancer, hemophilia, and other blood disorders.
A cancer or blood disorder diagnosis affects the entire family, not just the patient. That's why our families receive support from a team of experts that includes physicians, nurses, child life specialists, social workers, arts therapists, and many others dedicated to meeting their physical, emotional, and practical needs.
Children's Minnesota patients have access to cutting-edge treatments and clinical trials before they are widely available. With one of the largest pediatric clinical research programs in the region, we're advancing discoveries that lead to safer, more effective treatments and brighter futures for children and families.
