Being born and raised in Minnesota, healthcare has always been something that is important to me and to my family. Throughout my life, I have been to Minnesota's Children's Hospital in support of my family members and friends in need of care. In each experience, I've seen the individualized effort made by each nurse and doctor to know their patient on a personal level and to make sure they know they are supported in this difficult point in their life. Children are our most vulnerable population and to see suffering from those who have barely begun to see the good in the world breaks my heart. From the weekly serivce I have done thoughout my college career, I have seen the hope children have and they inspire me! 

Children's Minnesota is such a vital aspect to healing our young and every dollar, no matter how much, helps to improve the care, technology and experince for every child who needs medical care. 

I have partnered with the Minnesota's Children's Hospital to raise money for the hospital and to run for the kids in Grandma's half marathon in Duluth in June 2024!
