Greetings, Supporters,

I am Lonnika Barbee, and I am thrilled to be organizing this fundraiser in order to help Children's Hospital of Minnesota and run Grandma's Marathon. I am a educator and enthusiastic children's media creator. In my spare time I create content to provide access, representation, and remove barriers that may get in the way of children using all of their senses to learn. I find joy in the work that I do. I am super excited to work alongside all of you amazing supporters to raise five hundred dollars for the Children's Hospital of Minnesota. 

Five hundred dollars is the lovely target I have set for myself. The money will help with various healthcare needs! I want to support and serve every child I can in this upcoming season. My heart smiles broadly anytime I get to assist children in embracing their individual learning styles through access. Being able to run the entire marathon in collaboration with Grandma's Marathon and Children's Hospital excites me beyond measure. Indeed, the marathon will be difficult, but I'll keep my eyes on the prize—that is, reaching children and families for a higher purpose and providing them with opportunities and access to go where each child journeys throughout their lives. Please help me raise $500 to support children in need.
