My 7 year old son Liam was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2023. This has really opened our eyes to the health and well-being of our son and all other children experiencing health problems. The transition to a gluten-free lifestyle for a 7 year old has had numerous challenges along the way but the attitude and strength that Liam has shown has inspired me to live healthier, be a better person, and help others in need. This year I am partnering with Children's Minnesota because I want to run for a bigger cause and work with a charity that believes in bettering the health and lives of children in need. I will be dedicating this years half marathon to Liam and all other children that have medical needs. 

Children's Minnesota is an amazing organization that puts the health needs of children and families first. They are the only health system in Minnesota that exclusivley cares for children and is one of the largest freestanding pediatric health systems in the United States. They strongly believe that every child deserves to have a happy and healthy childhood. One hundred percent of donations go directly to Children's Minnesotas most urgent needs, and every donation, no matter the amount, will help better the lives of children and families in need.
