Virtual Walk for Amazing is my chance to say “Thank you!” to everyone at Children’s Minnesota for their dedication and compassion—plus my way of honoring everyone who walked alongside as we traveled our health journey!

In the Fall of 2014, at my 20-week ultrasound I discovered my baby had a congenital heart defect that would require surgery almost immediately after giving birth, as well as 2 subsequent surgeries in the following few years. Zayden, now six years old, has been the greatest blessing in my life. His energy, laughter, talents, and the joy he brings me are a constant reminder of the gratitude I feel for Children's Minnesota.

While Zayden and I have many deeply meaningful experiences personally with Children's Minnesota, I've learned about and met so many other inspiring children and families as I remain connected. 

This year’s Virtual Walk for Amazing means I’ll be committing to staying active every day for two weeks—and that’s where your help comes in! Make a donation, and together we’ll raise much-needed funds for the patients and families at Children’s Minnesota.
