My name is Adam Westling, I am a husband, father, and now, a runner - a title I never expected to have. In the last year, in an effort to heal and grow mentally and physically I've discovered a love of running and its community. 

I am new to all of this running stuff, and a couple years ago, was a new dad when I went to Children's to be with our oldest. Charles was only 6 months old, and had been admitted with RSV. When I got there, the front desk asked me my relationship to the patient, to which I responded, "I'm his dad". I will never forget that moment. 
Running is hard for me. I feel grateful to be able to choose this hard thing in my life. Not all hard things in life can be chosen. This is why organizations like Children's are so vital, and why I am running the TC 10 mile in October 2025 in support of their mission.
