After 12 days, 11 nights, three hospitals, and two ambulance rides, we are beyond thankful to finally have Emily home and on the road to recovery.
She was diagnosed with Influenza A and pneumonia, which led to a nearly five-day intubation—some of the scariest moments we've ever faced.
Through it all, the care she received—especially at Children's Minnesota Hospital - Minneapolis—was nothing short of incredible. We are deeply grateful to the nurses, doctors, and staff who guided her back to health with such compassion and expertise.
We were so impressed with all that we encountered and just wanted to find ways to give back and express our gratitude.
