I'm running Grandma's Marathon to support the awesome work that Children's Hospital MN does, and to honor a great volunteer, Michael Grace (aka MG Lyte).

Michael was born at Children's with a rare and serious heart defect called Ebstein Anomaly. The team at Children's Heart Clinic surrounded Michael with high specialized care and surgical expertise.  Because of this care, Michael is now an active 24 year old, who has participated in the Special Olympics USA games 2022 (basketball),  and presently serves on the Board of the Down Syndrome of Minnesota. 

As a way of saying thanks to Children's, Michael gives back to hospital as a volunteer emcee for Star Studio, an entertaining show put on for hospital patients.
