My 9 year old son Liam was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2023. The transition to a gluten-free lifestyle for a young child has had numerous challenges along the way, but the attitude and strength that Liam shows inspires me to do more, and be a better person. I am partnering with Children's Minnesota again this year because I love working alongside a charity team that believes in bettering the health and lives of children in need. 

Children's Minnesota is an amazing organization that puts the health needs of children and families first. They are the only health system in Minnesota that exclusively cares for children and is one of the largest freestanding pediatric health systems in the United States. They strongly believe that every child deserves to have a happy and healthy childhood. One hundred percent of donations go directly to Children's Minnesotas most urgent needs, and every donation, no matter the amount, will help better the lives of children and families in need. 

On June 20th, I will be trying to set another half marathon PR...but more importantly I'll be running for all the children who can't, and for all the children laying in hospital beds, battling through some of the hardest times of their lives. Every dollar helps so I challenge everyone reading this to open your hearts and join together to help give children the happy futures they all deserve.
