I’ve decided to lace up my running shoes for more than just the finish line. I’m running Grandma’s Marathon as a charity runner to raise funds for Cardiovascular Care at Children’s Minnesota, where I have the privilege of working as a nurse. 

Pediatric cardiovascular care is deeply personal to me. As a nurse on this unit, I witness the strength, courage, and resilience of children and families facing unimaginable challenges due to heart conditions.
