I am a pharmacist and have worked in the specialty pharmacy space for over a decade. My mission in my role has always been to make the patient’s treatment journey as easy and optimal as possible, which can be incredibly challenging for patients with severe chronic diseases. These families go through a lot, and I feel well positioned to be able to help.

Additionally, my husband worked in the children’s hospital for several years and also learned firsthand what the patient experience feels like. He has been an athlete fundraiser for Children's for several years, and when he left his position, we started a non profit to continue to raise funds for the organization. Human Race Inc has become our platform to expand our giving well beyond what we could give on our own.

I ran my first 50 miler in a Children's Superstars tanktop that was covered in signatures from the kiddos that Elliot had gotten to know over the years. It was a surreal and powerful experience, and I carried hope and love for those kids the entire way. They inspired me more than they'll ever know. We have an opportunity every day to help others, and I hope what we are doing can help find answers through research, and help families needing some additional support during what is likely the most difficult time in their life.
